EDBURGH CONSULTANTS/ SENIOR CIVIL ENGINEER

Description

Global objective is that construction projects under IPA component I are implemented on time and in accordance with respective contracts. The specific objectives are to assist the EU Delegation with monitoring of the works and supervision contracts implementation in the way to provide EUD's Task manager with relevant information on the status of the projects implementation from the field, progress assessment and suggestions.

Eligibility

- At least Masters Degree Academic level in Civil Engineering or, in its absence, equivalent professional experience of 10 years in addition to
  the 10 years mentioned under General professional experience.
- Fluency in English
- At least 10  years of working experience in the fields of civil engineering
- At least 5 years of working experience as a supervisory engineer in the fields of civil engineering (absolutely required)
- Working experience on one project in the supervision of the works in accordance with FIDIC and EU procedures, especially Practical Guide
  to Contract procedures for EU external action (PRAG).
- Working experience as a nominated Supervisory Engineer, Supervisor’s Representative or Supervisor’s Assistant on one construction site in
  Croatia.
