EDBURGH CONSULTANTS/ SENIOR ICT EXPERT

Description

Global objective is to ensure transparent and non-biased EU tendering procedures in the Republic of Croatia. Specific objective is to technically assess whether all five lots under the IPA 2010 Supply project for the equipment of the Integrated Border Management are drafted and evaluated in transparent and non biased manner.

Eligibility

- Education at least Masters Degree Academic level in Information and Communication Technologies Industry (ICT), electronic engineering
  and/or computer science or, in its absence, at least 15 years equivalent professional experience in the ICT field.
- At least 10 years of working experience in the ICT field. (Absolutely required)
- At least 3 years of the working experience with X-ray inspection systems, Thermal Imagers,Document Examination System and Explosives
  and/or Narcotic Detectors for the national defence and security sectors. (Absolutely required)
- Working experience in the public procurement and/or familiarity with the Practical Guide to Contract procedures for the EU external action
  service will be assessed as a technical advantage.
- English (Absolutely required) and Croatian as advantage
