EUROPE AID/133891/D/SER/MK: IPA - TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE FOR STRENGTHENING THE CAPACITIES OF LOCAL SELF-GOVERNMENT FOR COOPERATION WITH CIVIL SOCIETY ORGANIZATIONS

Contract description

The overall objective of the project is to support the sustainability of civil society. The project purpose is to contribute in strengthening the administrative capacities for cooperation with CSOs in 8 pilot municipalities, as well as to strengthen civil society through built capacity for self-sustainability and enhanced role of CSOs in the decision-making process at local level. The representation of the recommendations and interests of the citizens will be provided through strengthening the CSOs' participation in the decision-making processes at local level. Results of this project: it is expected that it will strengthen the administrative capacities of the civil servants at local level for cooperation with CSOs, with specific attention towards the establishment of functional mechanisms for cooperation of the CSOs with local self-government. The project envisions preparation and adoption of a framework document for cooperation between the municipality and CSOs for each of the 8 pilot municipalities.

Eligibility

Participation is open to all legal persons (participating either individually or in a grouping (consortium) of candidates) which are established in a Member State of the European Union or in a country or territory of the regions covered and/or authorised by the specific instruments applicable to the programme under which the contract is financed. Participation is also open to international organisations. The participation of natural persons is governed by the specific instruments applicable to the programme under which the contract is financed.

Maximum budget: 450 000 EUR.
