Responsibilities
- Directs and supervises the work of the Project Officers
- Assists the Director and the DSC in developing the departments policy, in collaboration with the Policy and Information Officer
- Prepares Departmental operational planning documents including the Programme Outline and the Unified Budget proposal
- Develops, in co-operation with DSC staff, associated work plans (annual/quarterly) for each project initiated by DSC
- Conducts ongoing assessment of the project performance, providing information to the Director DSC, enabling the reorientation of effort
and flexibility in response to changing situations
Requirements
- Advanced education/certified training course in a relevant field desirable
- Minimum 6 years of relevant, diversified and progressively responsible professional experience including at least 3 years at the
management level relevant to the actual position
- Professional fluency in English, both oral and written, with experience in report-writing
