Responsibilities
- Serves as the principle liaison officer for the Department, co-ordinating activities between the Director's Office and OSCE, UNMIK,
EULEX, KFOR and other international and local stakeholders
- Co-ordinates strategic planning with the Director's Office and Senior Staff
- Is responsible for the operations of the Department and supervises the activities of the Section Heads for Quality Assurance and
Accountability
- Oversees all reporting requirements on behalf of the Director, which includes weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports
- Advises on staffing needs and oversees staff development
- Assists in the development, implementation and oversight of organizational budgets
Requirements
- University education in international studies, public policy, political science, law or related fields and demonstrated experience in security
and public safety matters within a civilian and/or military environment
- Diplomatic experience or experience in working with international organizations or governments, particularly in a post conflict and/or
developing regions
- Proven experience in drafting programme outlines and budget proposals
- Experience in project management including large scale, multiple-issue projects, as well as in fund raising and project promotion
- Experience in preparing analytical reports, concept and position papers and in delivering briefings and presentations to diverse groups,
including top-level audiences
