Description
The Office of Good Governance and the Ministry of European Integration (MEI) are collaborating to finalise the process of the Mid-Term Review of the Action Plan for the Integration of Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian Communities (2009 – 2015). This process will culminate in a report on implementation via a revised monitoring framework and prioritisation of activities. Chairmanship of the Inter-Ministerial Steering Committee for the Implementation of the Kosovo Action Plan for the Integration of Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian Communities (2009 – 2015) has now moved to the MEI.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate inter-ministerial work in regard to implementation of the Strategy for Integration of Roma, Ashkali and Egyptians;
- Facilitate communication and reporting systems between the central and local level government;
- Strengthen the monitoring and evaluation mechanisms for the Strategy for the integration of RAE as well as other projects and initiatives
with a direct impact on the objectives and targets of the Strategy.
- Assist the AOGG in enhancing their role as main actors in coordination of the implementation of the strategy for the integration of the
RAE communities;
- Operational matters in relation to the implementation of the strategy for the RAE communities.
Requirements
- Master Degree in Local Governance, European Integration, Public Administration, Law, Sociology, Political Science or a related field;
- Prior experience in coordination, monitoring and evaluation;
- Theoretical knowledge of and practical experience in working with minorities, in particular integration of Roma and/or Ashkali and
Egyptian communities;
- Familiar with Kosovo’s situation and processes of integration of RAE communities:
- Excellent ability to write reports, prepare and deliver presentation, provide training, plan and coordinate activities;
- English, Albanian and/or Serbian and/or Romani.
