Background


   - Provide a framework by which students from diverse academic backgrounds may be assigned to UNDP offices, where their educational
     experience can be enhanced through practical work assignments;
   - Expose them to an international environment;
   - Expose them to the work of the Organization with an objective of deepening their knowledge and understanding of UNDP’s goals,
     principles and activities;
   - Provide UNDP offices with the assistance of qualified students specialized in various professional fields;
   - Internships will allow successful candidates to have an opportunity to work in a multi-cultural international organization.

Responsibilities

   - Assist in creating unified UN Montenegro accounts on different social media through development of particular online platforms including
     UN Montenegro Flickr, Issuu, Slideshare, and Twitter. Lead on preparatory activities including planning, coordinating and sorting all
     relevant materials for those platforms from different UN agencies (photos, reports, publications, presentations, etc);
   - Assist in creating unified UN Montenegro photo library, including collecting and sorting photos from different UN agencies;
   - Write features and success stories (both in English and in local language) about UN efforts and results in the country, based on field wok
     and relevant inputs;
   - Assist in producing scripts for video features, conducting interviews and field visits to showcase the results and progress of UN projects
     and programmes;
   - Assistance in various activities within the joint UN Youth Programme, including the design and implementation of the national campaign;
   - Maintain UN Montenegro YouTube channel, regularly upload new video contents, tag and sort clips;
   - Assist in preparation of communications materials for conferences, forums and other events;
   - Website update and maintenance (Simple CMS - Control Management System);

Requirements

   - Student of Journalism, Communications, International Relations, Visual Arts and Design, IT, Social Sciences or similar (candidates have to
     be enrolled in a degree programme in a graduate school at the time of application and during the internship);
   - Experience in writing stories and using social media;
   - Excellent computer skills;
   - Excellent inter-personal and communication skills;
   - Excellent organizational skills with developed attention to details;
   - Excellent knowledge of local and English language, written and spoken.
