Background
The Mainstreaming the Concept on Migration and Development (M&D) into relevant Policies, Plans and Actions in BiH project seeks to systematically mobilise and build up potentials of migrants from Bosnia and Herzegovina in relevant domains of transition and socio-economic development, providing for visible effects of their contributions to the country’s progress at all institutional and societal levels. Specifically, the project will pilot mainstreaming of migration for development within the integrated local development strategies of selected local governments in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring the implementation of the project goals;
- Project management and supervision of the Project Team;
- Establishing partnerships and advocacy with the provision of top quality advice to the Government;
- Contributing to CO programme management and development in the area of migration, return and reintegration;
- Ensuring gender mainstreaming within the project.
Required Skills
- Advanced university degree in public administration, development studies, economics, political sciences, social sciences, or other related
areas.
- At least 7 years of relevant work experience, with more than five years of experience in direct programme/project management;
- Previous experience related to migration, diaspora, emigration and/or sustainable return policies and/or projects in Bosnia and
Herzegovina and/or in the region;
- Fluency in English and B/H/S with excellent drafting and presentation skills.
