Description of the contract


The purpose of this contract is to provide supervision services for reconstruction and upgrading of app. 10.1 km of the motorway section from Smokvica to Gevgelija, subsections: Smokvica – Prdejci (app. 6.7 km - on the left carriageway side of the motorway) and Negorci – Gevgelija (app. 3.4 km - on the left carriageway side of the motorway ), as part of Corridor X.
The Consultant shall ensure that services for supervision shall be in accordance with all the requirements for quality control, control of quantities, supervision of the work progress, analyses of expenses, implementation of the environmental criteria as well as working on administrative questions during the rehabilitation works and defect liability period.
The contract for works will be in accordance with FIDIC conditions of contract (Red Book - First Edition 1999, Conditions of Contract). Works contract will include activities related to: removal of 3 existing bridges and 1 underpass and re-building new ones, rehabilitation of the existing pavement and construction of new traffic lane, construction of the embankments, shoulders and gutters, asphalting, placement of traffic signs and road marking.

Budget

Maximum budget: EUR 860.000.


Eligibility

Participation is open to all legal persons [participating either individually or in a grouping (consortium) of candidates] which are established in a Member State of the European Union or in a country or territory of the regions covered and/or authorised by the specific instruments applicable to the programme under which the contract is financed (see also item 29 below). Participation is also open to international organisations. The participation of natural persons is governed by the specific instruments applicable to the programme under which the contract is financed.
