OSCE MISSION TO SKOPJE/ CHIEF, POLITICAL AND REPORTING UNIT (VACANCY NUMBER: VNSKPS00385)

Requirements

  - University education in international studies, public policy, political science or law or related fields
  - Minimum 6 years of relevant, diversified and progressively responsible professional experience including at least 3 years at the
    management level relevant to the actual position
  - Experience in preparing analytical reports
  - Knowledge of regional political history and developments

Responsibilities

  - Assists the Head of Mission in defining general Mission policy; and in developing official stances on issues of the political importance for
    the Mission and the Organization
  - Advises the Head of Mission and Deputy Head of Mission on the political issues and as tasked, advises the Mission and assists the OSCE
    institutions on the political and other related matters
  - Analyses the political situation and developments in the country and the region
  - Maintains regular contact with Host Country political parties and personalities at the appropriate level
  - Liaises with the State institutions and government bodies, partner organizations, diplomatic community and relevant NGOs
