CHIEF OF PARTY, PROPERTY RIGHTS PROGRAM

Description

Tetra Tech ARD, headquartered in Burlington, Vermont is currently accepting expressions of interest from qualified candidates for a potential Chief of Party position, for an upcoming Property Rights USAID-funded program in Kosovo


Responsibilities

  - The COP will be the principal point of contact in Kosovo for procedural and substantive matters;
  - Coordinate and ultimately be responsible for all contract management and implementation tasks
  - Liaison with USAID/Kosovo on technical matters and shall adjust programs and operations in response to USAID/Kosovo technical direction
  - Responsible for responding to the COR and USAID/Kosovo Contracting Officer
  - Responsible for ensuring quality control and the overall responsiveness of technical assistance provided under the Contract


Requirements

  - Master’s degree in a tenure-related field or appropriate social science
  - Ten years or more demonstrated experience managing and implementing land tenure, land administration or other property-rights related programs
  - Relevant experience includes legislative and policy reform; improved court processes, enhanced women’s rights and access to property, public information and awareness, institutional capacity building, protection of minority rights to property, land market development and transition from socialist to free market system, worked in post conflict environment
  - 10 years USAID experience
  - Previous experience in Kosovo
  - Fluency in written and oral English required
