The EU-funded project "Enhancing the administrative capacities of telecom and media authorities for efficient regulation of new digital and multiple play service" implemented by the consortium leading by HD European Consulting Group is offering the following job opportunity:

OFFICE MANAGER (OM)

Project Background The specific objectives of the project are enhancing the capacities of telecom and media regulators: for their tracking of communications markets developments; for the implementation of the EU regulatory framework for electronic communications adn for audiovisual media services; for performing different types of content regulation in the fields of electronic communications and broadcasting and for building an efficient consumer protection system.

Context of work The assigment will contribute to achievement of planned results of the whole project. The position of Office Manager is established for administrative support to the project team in terms of general and clerical support. Office Manager is directly responsible to Team Leader and Project Director, who monitors and directs his/her work.

Specific Tasks: Manage the overall operations of the Skopje office, including being responsible for logistical and financial issues; Coordinate activities with the HQ in Belgrade and provide financial reports on a regular basis; Maintain actual financial data on ECG's project management information system; Support long-term and short-term experts in their daily duties: manage correspondence, filing, meetings, trainings etc; Maintain sufficent supplies and stationary in the office; Occasionally assist with translation/interpreting tasks.

Expected deliverables: proper functioning of the office, proper file handing and archiving documents, both in written and electornic format, proper financial administration of the project.

Location/Timing/Durations of Assignment: Based in Skopje in the project office. Duration 17 months.


Requirements

-Qualifications and skills: university degree, trained in Project Circle Management, fluency in written and spoken English and Macedonian. Knowledge of Serbian and Albanian Language will be an advantage; good communication skills; detail oriented with demonstration of ability to multitask; in-depth knowledge and experience in liaising with goverment and media officials; Knowledge of advanced Excel and project management tools; keep confidentiality.

-General Professional Experience: minimum 4 years of Experience in Official Development Assistance, experience  is running project funded by EU and other donor community.

-Specific professional experience: experience in Quality management systems. Working with/for operating Securities/Implementing Agencies for implementation of EU assistance and working with/for public administration in Macedonia will be an advantage.
