Description
European Management Solutions is in the process of identifying 1 expert for the EC tender ”Assistance in strengthening MAFRD advisory services and improving the quality of technical services provided by the MAFRD laboratories (EMS 6682)”. Global objective: The overall objective is to support MAFRD to establish an operational Kosovo Advisory System for Agriculture and Rural Development (KASARD) to provide quality advisory services to farmers as well as to create synergies between different instruments such as advice, training, information, extension services and research.
Requirements
Qualifications and skills:
A Bachelor's degree in the field of agriculture, agricultural engineering, agrarian economics, phytosanitary, farm management, food technology or 7 years of relevant professional experience. A Master/PhD in the above fields is an advantage
General professional experience:
Minimum 8, preferable 12 years of professional experience in the field of agriculture, agricultural engineering, agrarian economics, phytosanitary, farm management, food technology (in addition to the years of professional experience which form a substitute for the diploma in case the expert would not have the diploma required under Qualifications and Skills);
Specific professional experience:
Experience in at least 1 project preferably 3 projects related to preparation of procedures, guidelines and administrative procedures for selection of advisory bodies in the field of agriculture and rural development.
Experience in preparation of information packages, agricultural education/research and training of farmers/agricultural advisors gained in at least 2 preferably 4 countries covered by article 19 of IPA regulation.
