NIRAS is looking for an international consultant for the project IPA — assistance in strengthening MAFRD advisory services and improving the quality of technical services provided by the MAFRD laboratories in Kosovo
Key expert 1: Team Leader (Minimum of 360 working days)
Requirements
Qualifications and skills
- A Bachelor's degree in the field of agriculture, agrarian economics, rural development or 7 years of relevant professional experience. A Master/PhD in the above fields is an advantage.
General professional experience
- Minimum 8, preferable 12 years of professional experience in the field of agriculture, agrarian economics, rural development (in addition to the years of professional experience which form a substitute for the diploma in case the expert would not have the diploma required under Qualifications and Skills);
Specific professional experience
- Experience in leading teams in the public or private sector or in donor funded projects in at least 1 preferably 3 projects5 in the area of capacity building for advisory bodies in agriculture and rural development.
- Specific experience in at least 2 preferably 4 projects6 covering one of the following fields:
1) Setting up/strengthening advisor service system in Member States or Candidate Countries;
2) Programming of support measures for advisory services and improvement of training in line with IPARD requirements
