Description
The project purpose is to facilitate adequate and effective coordination between the Commission, IFIs, bilateral donors and Beneficiaries at policy, technical and operational level in the area of socio-economic development of the Beneficiaries with a particular focus on cooperation under the WBIF.
WBIF Project Manager (key expert, long-term)
The WBIF Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring that necessary assistance is available to Beneficiaries for project identification and application.
The candidate must have an academic background in engineering or economics and professional experience of minimum 15 years.
The candidate should have a specialization in the energy or environment or transport sectors.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in infrastructure projects (in the energy and/or environment and/or transport sector) for activities supporting investment project identification, assessment and implementation.
- Experience with investment project feasibility analysis and preparation of tendering documentation
- Experience in preparation of investment projects in accordance with EU and IFI requirements would be an advantage
- In-depth familiarity with EC and IFIs procedures/requirements
- Experience in transition economies
- Experience from one or more countries in the Western Balkan region is essential
- Fluent written and spoken English.
