SENIOR EXPERT (TL) IN AUDIT

Description

Assessment study of audit firms/ auditors operating in the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia in relation to performing expenditure verification of EU-funded grants


Responsibilities

The Senior Expert shall be responsible for the overall management and functioning of the assignment, such as: the work organisation, the timely implementation of the tasks, the necessary co-ordination and contacts with Contracting Authority.

Senior Expert will be responsible for the drafting of expected outcome documentation and the integration of inputs of Junior Expert and will guarantee the quality of the team performance.


Requirements

   - Advanced university degree or Master in economics, human resources management, organisational management or equivalent, or 14 years relevant general professional experience
   - At least 10 years of experience in Auditing, out of which at least 3 years spent in a managerial position within an auditing, accounting or financial control company
   - At least 5 assignments in external audit, including expenditure verification of EU-funded programmes and/or projects
   - Experience of external audit, including expenditure verification of EU funded grant contracts will be considered as an advantage
   - Excellent command of written and spoken English
