WORLD LEARNING/ CHIEF OF PARTY

Description

World Learning seeks a Chief of Party for a USAID-funded Transformational Leadership Program to be based in Prishtina, Kosovo. The Transformational Leadership Program will help create a cadre of leaders able to drive economic, political, and social change within Kosovo. Key components include strengthening universities within Kosovo, scholarships for US graduate studies and professional certificates, and establishing multi-stakeholder oversight mechanisms.

Responsibilities

  - Provide overall leadership and direction for the program
  - Oversee program administration, implementation, and fiscal management
  - Coordinate overall communications with USAID/Kosovo
  - Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders
  - Provide leadership to overall project operations and reporting, ensuring that program complies with donor regulations and local laws
  - Liaise with partner organizations, facilitate successful coordination of all organizational and individual training and capacity building
    activities and ensure transparency
  - Report regularly to headquarters, providing timely updates of all situational and project developments
  - Oversee the preparation of annual work plans and other USAID reporting requirements

Requirements

  - Master’s degree
  - Minimum 10 years senior management experience with education, academic exchange, or organizational performance improvement
    programs
  - Knowledge of USAID rules and regulations
  - Strong experience in managing development programs for results
  - Excellent communication skills
  - English fluency
  - Strong team leadership capabilities
