TRAINING EXPERT - WATER AND SANITATION SECTOR

Description

Technical assistance allocation is aimed at support and capacity strenghtening for corporate development and institutional reforms as a step in BiH's EU approximation. All particpating municipalities and utilities will be provided with support for financial and operational performance improvement. Within the establishment of sustainalbe fiscal mechanisms, support to low-income households should be initiated and monitored. A gender perspective should be applied in business planning and in customer communication strategy.


Responsibilities

Support the government and municipalities in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the implementation of municipal infrastructure projects in the water and sanitation sector with the aim to enhance environmental infrastructure services in accordance with EU directives, leading to environment and health improvements.


Requirements

   - Preferably engineering degree
   - Experience in preparation and delivery of trainings of water/ww utilities' staff
   - Preferably experience in the Western Balkans
