The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) is currently recruiting a team of volunteers to assist with the development of technical guidance notes to support actors who are addressing gender-based violence (GBV) in humanitarian settings. The volunteers will assist in creating a collection of short (one- to three-page) fact sheets on various sub-topics within GBV program management in humanitarian contexts. For each of these sub-topics, a focus on humanitarian contexts is paramount. Each volunteer researcher will be assigned one GBV sub-topic about which s/he will be expected to produce a one- to three-page fact sheet. UNFPA will provide the key research materials and guidance on formatting, etc. There is no set hourly or weekly time commitment. However, s/he will be expected to meet a number of pre-determined (weekly or bi-weekly) deadlines.
The final product will be a collection of fact sheets to be used in training workshops. Priority topics include:

- Working with child survivors of sexual violence and abuse
- Working with male survivors of sexual violence and abuse
