Background

The implementation of a project sets out from the detailed analysis of the local economical, environmental and cultural background framed in a broader international perspective.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of working experience in the field of local social and economic development field, regional development, neighbourhood cooperation, civil society, good governance, development studies, social science, project cycle management or related topics.
- At least 3 years of professional experience with public institutions and other institutions responsible for management of EU grant programmes.
- Experience in grant scheme evaluations of at least four (4) EU/EC Calls for Proposals, from which at least two (2) are under the rules and procedures applying to EC external aid contracts financed from the European Communities budget (Practical Guide to Contract procedures for EC external actions);
- Experience in IPA evaluations would be considered as a comparative advantage.
- Good understanding of the current socio-political and development situation in the enlargement countries including the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and Kosovo.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
