AAM Management Information Consulting Ltd (Hungary) is looking for an experienced General Policing Expert (Team Leader) for the EU funded project ‘Further Institution and Capacity Building of the Police Service in the area of border management, community policing and fight against organized crime’. The project is currently at the bidding phase and we are looking for a team of experts (4 Key Experts) who would be interested in the implementation and processes all qualifications and skills required for the positions. The project is expected to start in March 2014 and will last 18 months. The overall objective of the project of which this contract will be a part is further strengthening of the police capacities for border management, fight against organized crime and community policing.
Responsibilities
- The overall project management and daily implementation as well as implementation of the fourth component
- Appropriate management of the resources
- Providing expertise in her/his area of competence
- Reporting
Requirements
- University degree in Law/Police Academy or five years above the minimum required general experience in the relevant field;
- Master of Science in Police Leadership and Management will be considered as an asset.
- Minimum 10 years professional experience in the area of General Policing / Public Peace and Order / Traffic Affairs.
- Minimum three years experience as instructor/trainer for practical police procedure training – usage of police powers and force;
- Experience in at least two EU funded project as a Police expert or as a team leader in at least one EU funded police project;
- Sound knowledge of contemporary police leadership and management styles proved by degree or certificate;
- Experience as an expert in monitoring and advising on community policing,managing of crisis situation/disrupted public peace and order in EU funded project would be an asset;
- Knowledge of Macedonian language will be an asset.
