Description

AAM Management Information Consulting Ltd (Hungary) is looking for an experienced General Policing Expert (Team Leader) for the EU funded project ‘Further Institution and Capacity Building of the Police Service in the area of border management, community policing and fight against organized crime’.
The project is currently at the bidding phase and we are looking for a team of experts (4 Key Experts) who would be interested in the implementation and processes all qualifications and skills required for the positions. The project is expected to start in March 2014 and will last 18 months.
The overall objective of the project of which this contract will be a part is further strengthening of the police capacities for border management, fight against organized crime and community policing.


Responsibilities

   - Implementation of the first component
   - Providing expertise in her/his area of competence
   - Supporting STE her/his area of competence
   - Reporting


Requirements

   - University degree in Law/Police Academy or five years above the minimum required general experience in the relevant field
   - Minimum ten years of professional experience in the area of Integrated border management
   - Minimum three years experience as an Instructor for border police procedure training with focus on: fight against illegal drugs trafficking, smuggling of human beings, forging documents and smuggling of motor vehicles, considering persons’ profiling in EU funded project or in EU member state   
   - Experience as an expert in preparation of needs assessment for Border police in at least one EU funded project
   - At least three years of experience as an expert in advising and elaboration on border risk management concept, methodology and border police training curricula in compliance with the EU best practices in at least one EU funded project
   - Experience as an expert in advising and elaboration of anti-corruption programme in Border police in at least one EU funded project would be an asset
   - Experience in monitoring and advising on fight against illegal trafficking in drugs, smuggling in human beings, forging documents and smuggling of motor vehicles in at least one EU funded projects would be an asset
