EUROPEAID/133846/C/SER/XK: IPA - INFORMATION COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY (ICT) PROJECT IN THE FIELD OF EDUCATION-PHASE II

Description

The objective of this project is to support the Kosovo Government to improve the quality and efficiency of education and training services through support and use of ICT technology and e-learning in the teaching and learning process, thereby improving the lifelong learning and employability. The project is to include:

-Training and capacity building of teachers, school Directors, educational staff and relevant staff of Universities in Kosovo, notably University of Pristina, in use of ICT in education, eLearning and e-content development and its application in teaching and learning
-e-content material development required by the new curriculum of Kosovo
-Training and capacity building of ICT technicians responsible for maintaining ICT systems and equipment in educational institutions in particular in schools
-further development of on-line management platforms and storage systems to be used by the MEST, schools and educational institutions for teaching and learning
-assessment, monitoring and evaluation of delivery, installation and testing of ICT equipment and supplies to schools and educational establishments


Eligibility

Participation is open to all legal persons participating either individually or in a grouping (consortium) of candidates which are established in a Member State of the European Union or in a country or territory of the regions covered and/or authorised by the specific instruments applicable to the programme under which the contract is financed. Participation is also open to international organisations.


Budget

Maximum budget 1,000,000.00 EUR
