OSCE MISSION IN KOSOVO/ CHIEF OF PUBLIC PARTICIPATION SECTION (VACANCY NUMBER: VNKOSS01594)

 
Responsibilities

  - Provides strategic direction and manages the Public Participation Section
  - Advises the Department's senior management on issues related to civil society, women, youth and non-majority community participation as
    a component of democratic governance
  - Oversees and manages the design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of all of the Section's projects
  - Assists in the development and implementation of the Department's cross-cutting themes of civil society, youth, women and non-majority
    community participation
  - Co-ordinates and liaises with other Departments and Sections in the Mission and in the field, on cross-cutting themes of civil society, youth,
    women and/or non-majority community participation
  - Supervises all professional and support staff of the Public Participation Section
  - Co-ordinates and oversees the drafting of reports based on information provided by the Section and the field;

Requirements

  - Previous relevant work experience on issues relating to civil society, women, youth and non-majority community participation as a
    component of democratic governance preferably in international environment, and/or experience in field missions
  - Proven management and supervisory experience
  - Project management experience
  - Experience in drafting reports
  - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  - Professional fluency in the English language
