The Grant scheme will contribute to the prevention of institutionalisation and the reintegration of social service users in the society, improve the quality of social services delivery on the local communities' level, and promote partnerships within communities. Also, through the development of community based social services for children, elderly, persons with disabilities1, as well as other groups in a disadvantage, reconciliation of working and family life of families with dependent members as well as employment will be facilitated. The goal is to reduce entry into institutions and increasing the number of those who leave the institutions into new forms of social welfare, particularly by encouraging reintegration into families. The Plan defines specific objectives of transformation and deinstitutionalization for the following groups of beneficiaries: children and youth without adequate parental care, children and youth with behavior disorders, children with disabilities, disabled adults and mentally ill adult persons.
Objective
The global objective of this Call for Proposals is to improve employment opportunities by supporting further development of efficient and inclusive social services.
The specific objective of this Call for Proposals it to support social inclusion of people in a disadvantage through the development of community based social services.
Eligibility
In order to be eligible for a grant, applicants must:
- be legal persons
- be specific types of organisations:
- non-governmental organisations, non-profit organisations
- public institutions (excluding ministries and government offices)
- local and regional self-government units
- private institutions, private companies (provided they do not derive any profit from the grant)
- cooperatives, local and regional development agencies
Budget
The overall indicative amount made available under this call for proposals is EUR 2,024,236.
