Requirements
- Graduation from a recognized police training school
- Police administrative courses in relevant field and specialized subject area
- Minimum 10 years of diversified police experience including at least 12 months operational experience in the relevant field and specialized
subject area
- Very good oral and written English communication skills
Responsibilities
- Assists the Chief of Police Training and Ministry of Interior officials in analyzing training needs, development, implementation and
evaluation of police training strategies in line with Mission's mandate and its available resources
- Provides recommendations to the Chief of Police Training and Ministry of Interior officials in developing, managing and evaluating police
training projects related to policing including fight against terrorism and/or fight against organized crime
- Advises on the establishment of a sustainable structure for the development and implementation of police training programs for mid- and
senior management
- Supports the implementation of the Unit's projects related to police reform
- Delivers training, co-training, coaching and mentoring to national police trainers consistent with the OSCE principles and best practices
