Business partnerships pool entrepreneurial spirit and business ideas with the experience of development cooperation. Hereby we jointly generate a win-win situation for all sides:
- lower risk and better chances of profit for your company
- better living conditions for the local population.
In the course of globalisation small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as well as multinational enterprises from industrialised countries are also doing business in developing countries of the South or transition countries in the East, which have gained importance as production locations and as supply and sales markets.
Better together
National enterprises frequently make useful contributions to developing the local economy through direct investments or by building up other business ties. They contribute in developing countries to raising the incomes of the population and creating jobs. In addition, they help train skilled labour and transfer know-how and technology. This way, private-sector engagement makes a major contribution to local economic growth, poverty reduction and improvements in the living standards of the native population.
