Background
The purpose of this assignment is to enhance the institutional capacities of the Commissioner for the Protection of Equality and improve women`s access to rights in South and South-West Serbia through development and implementation of the comprehensive outreach programme for the Commissioner for the Protection of Equality (CPE), targeting women in the South and South West Serbia, as outlined in the European Partnership with Municipalities (PROGRES) project, Support to the Local Gender Equality Mechanisms and Communities for Addressing and Advancing Gender Equality Agenda.
Responsibilities
- To develop the outline (content) of the outreach programme to women for the Commissioner for the Protection of Equality which can
include: Introduction to Outreach; Methodology of the outreach activities and rationale for the various outreach methods; Overview of key
stakeholders for women’s rights; the most adequate approach to key stakeholders; Methodology to measure the results of the outreach
activities (i.e. how many women are reached, what they learnt) etc.
- To develop draft and final outreach programme to women for the Commissioner for the Protection of Equality
Requirements
- A university degree in the areas of social sciences, gender studies, humanities or similar graduate degree an advantage
- Relevant work experience in the field of civic activism and gender equality
- Past cooperation and familiarity with UN Women’s work in Serbia will be considered an advantage
- Fluency in English and Serbian
