NISA WINTER SESSION: PERSPECTIVES OF EASTERN PARTNERSHIP

Description


NISA is a non-governmental organization registered in 2007. They establish by annual NISA summer and winter sessions every year and they have approximately 800 alumni up to date. Their sessions covered different topics like, Cyber Security, Financial Security, New era of unconventional threats and etc. Both, local and overseas students can participate in the sessions and the alumni contingents vary from USA to Pakistan. In general, there are 40 participant in sessions and half of them should be from foreign country. Recent developments around the EU’s Eastern Partnership (EP) summit in Vilnius, which was intended to herald “qualitative shift from negotiation of agreements to their effective implementation” in cooperation of the EU with its Eastern Partners have vividly illustrated confrontation between the West and Russia


Eligibility

This program is aimed at graduate students, young researchers, early to mid-career academics, experts and practitioners, who are interested in international relations, politics, and international security including issues related to the Euro-Atlantic area. Successful applicants need to be fluent in spoken and written English as well as to have academic credentials necessary to benefit from the course that will help him/her to actively contribute to the discussions. The participants should be highly motivated and demonstrate some achievements and activities in related fields.


Costs

NISA will cover lodging and food expenses of all participants and up to 50 percent of traveling expenses of international students. However, visa fee is not reimbursed.
