Background
UNDP Croatia transitions from a country office to a project management office in 2014 with full completion of this process expected on 1 July 2014. The Office will manage a portfolio of projects during 2014- 2017, which will require operational support in term of finance, human resources, procurement and other related administrative areas. The operational support is ensured by the operations unit consisting also of Snr. ICT Assistant. The present document describes the details about its functions and requirements. Under the guidance and supervision of the Administrative Associate, the Snr. ICT Assistant ensures effective ICT services and processes in CO.
Responsibilities
- Implementation of ICT management systems and strategies
- Effective functioning of the CO hardware and software packages
- Provision of network administration
- Provision of web management services
- Facilitation of knowledge building and knowledge sharing
Requirements
- Secondary education with relevant certification in hardware and software management and application, Microsoft Certified Professional
(MCP) required. Degree in Computer Science would be desirable but it is not requirement
- 4 years of relevant experience including network administration, support to management of hardware and software platforms,
telecommunication facilities, knowledge of Windows-base packages/applications; familiarity with People Soft would be an asset
- Excellent Croatian and English language skills, both written and verbal
