Background

There cannot be inclusive growth in Kosovo without local administrations, entrepreneurs, farmers, and communities deploying their energies and resources in a coordinated way, networked together to overcome specific development challenges in their territory. While development potential exists (particularly in agri-business and related value chains), no strong service institutions are present at municipal/local level. People have great difficulties in accessing employment opportunities, economic circuits and regular markets, business services and credit.

Responsibilities

  - Support the overall implementation of the project
  - Prepare project financial statements and manage project budgets, monitor expenditures against established allocations
  - Preparation of payment requests for project expenses, timely and accurate entry in ATLAS, timely preparation of monthly cash flow
    forecast for use by the PM and timely accounts closure
  - Proper control of the supporting documents for payments and financial reports for the project
  - Leave monitor for project personnel. Submit to UNDP Kosovo HR unit on monthly basis information on absence monitoring (attendance
    cards)

Requirements

  - Secondary education is required. Specialized/specific trainings in HR, finance, or business administration is a distinct advantage.
    University Degree in Business or Public Administration is an asset
  - Min 5 years of relevant experience is required at the national or international level in project administration, finance and procurement is
    required
  - Fluency in both oral and written English, Albanian and/or Serbian
