Requirements
- University education in political sciences, international relations, public policy, law, international human rights law or other human rights
related fields
- Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience including minimum 1 year in a relevant field strongly preferred
- Extensive experience in project management including project design, implementation, reporting and evaluation
- Knowledge of the Logical Framework approach for project management
- Professional fluency in written and spoken English
Responsibilities
- Acts as the focal point for project managers within the HRCD to assess project proposals prepared by the Department's Sections and
advises the Director accordingly
- Acts as focal point for the Office of Central Co-ordination (OCC) in the Mission to ensure effective operational management of projects
- Facilitates project development for unforeseen project initiatives, as deemed necessary, on an ad hoc basis for the HRCD Programme
- Oversees the implementation of planned projects within the HRC Department and informs the Director accordingly on programmatic
changes and project amendments
- Acts, in co-operation with OCC, as focal point for technical training needs assessment of the Department
