RS-PRISTINA: IPA — SUPPORT FOR THE MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT AND SPATIAL PLANNING (MESP) IN WATER MANAGEMENT AND MONITORING OF WATER RESOURCES 2011/S 83-135535

Contract description:                                                                                        Maximum budget: EUR 1.200.000

The project should provide institutional support to the water department in the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning (MESP) and other relevant institutions to draft a strategy and action plan for the water sector based on preparatory work such as data collection, studies and analyses of the water resources in Kosovo.

The main activities of the project among other include the following:

     - further development of water resource management information system, including data collection for surface and ground water in
        order to provide solid basis for policy development of the relevant institutions;
     - draft water strategy in accordance with the EU relevant directives and through inclusion of main stakeholders;
     - draft the action plan identifying priority projects for water sector.

Budget:

Maximum budget: 1 200 000 EUR.

Eligibility:

Participation is open to all legal persons (participating either individually or in a grouping (consortium) of candidates) which are established in a Member State of the European Union or in a country or territory of the regions covered and/or authorised by the specific instruments applicable to the programme under which the contract is financed. Participation is also open to international organisations. The participation of natural persons is governed by the specific instruments applicable to the programme under which the contract is financed.
