EBRD/ RIJEKA DISTRICT HEATING PROJECT - PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION SUPPORT

Description

The City of Rijeka (the "City" or "Rijeka"), located on the coast of the northern Adriatic, is the largest port in Croatia and the administrative and industrial centre of Primorsko-Goranska County, with a population of 190,000 people. Due to its geographical position and good transport infrastructure (both highway and railway) it has traditionally been of vital importance for Croatia and for the neighbouring countries (Slovenia, Austria, and Hungary). Despite the fact that Rijeka is still predominantly an industrial centre, the City and its neighbourhood are trying to further establish themselves as an important tourist destination.


Eligibility

Consultancy firms shall be entities registered in Austria and all experts proposed by the entity to work on the assignment must be either Austrian nationals or permanent residents of Austria. However, up to a maximum of 25% of the maximum contract amount may be used to finance services of local experts who are nationals of Croatia or consultancy firms registered in Croatia.


Budget

Maximum Budget available for the Assignment: EUR 260,000 (exclusive of VAT).
