Background


Social Impact (SI) is a Washington, DC-area international development management consulting firm. We provide a full range of innovative program evaluation, management consulting, technical assistance, and training services to strengthen international development programs, organizations and policies. Our global services are in the areas of democracy and governance, health and education, agriculture, the environment, and economic growth.


Objective

Social Impact is responding to USAID's five-year solicitation aimed at providing USAID/Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) with technical, analytic, advisory, training, monitoring, evaluation and related support services to assist USAID/BiH in effectively monitoring, evaluating, and relaying information about interventions. Additionally, the project will also seek to develop local capacity to conduct high quality independent evaluations and other studies for USAID/BiH and other donors.


Responsibilities

   - Organize and manage the implementation of capacity building tasks under Component 5;
   - Collaborate and work closely with Chief of Party and the partner U.S. University to develop and perform the activities under this
     component, including the following:
   - Develop a capacity building plan to strengthen select BiH partner(s) to carry out high-level research and evaluations; and,
   - Organize and implement Centers of Excellent to lay the foundation of a "learning by doing approach" for BiH partners and individuals.


Requirements

   - Hold a Master's Degree in social sciences;
   - At least five years of progressive experience in designing and implementing capacity building projects;
   - At least three years of experience implementing monitoring and evaluation activities;
   - Have excellent facilitation, interpersonal and team management skills.
