GIZ International Services (IS) is an integral division of GIZ. We offer the experience, the regional and technical know-how of GIZ in the global market and provide international clients with expertise in terms of economic and result-oriented services.

GIZ International Services is shortlisted for an up-coming EC-funded tender in Serbia: “Judicial efficiency – Support to the rule of law in Serbia”.

The overall objective of the project of which this contract will be a part is as follows: To strengthen the independence, efficiency, predictability, certainty, quality and accountability of the judiciary in the Republic of Serbia.

The purpose of this contract is to improve the efficiency, effectiveness, predictability and quality of court proceedings through more efficient court procedures, improving their performance, increase transparency of their work, enhance professional competencies and contribute to the improvement of technical conditions for their functioning.


Requirements

   - A university degree (where a university degree has been awarded on completion of three years study in a university or equivalent
     institution) in law.
   - Proven reporting skills (complex analytical publications) and excellent communication skills
   - Minimum 10, preferably 15 years of post-graduate experience working in the judicial sector
   - Minimum 8, preferably 10 years of post-graduate experience with institution building, capacity development or legal reform initiatives
   - Experience with institutional management and organisation in the judicial sector would be an advantage
   - Minimum 8, preferably 10 years of post-graduate experience working as an expert and providing technical assistance on judicial reform
     projects in EU Member State countries or EU accession candidate countries
   - Experience in leading teams in the public or private sector and/or in donor funded projects in minimum two, preferably three projects with
     a budget higher than EUR 2 million
