Description
Small Business Support (“SBS”) of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the “EBRD”) promotes economic transition, by both achieving enterprise change in viable micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and developing sustainable infrastructures of business advisory services in the countries of operations of the EBRD.
SBS activities include assisting individual enterprises to engage with local consultants on narrowly-based, specific projects with a rapid payback. Additionally, SBS carries out market development activities, including training programmes for local consultants, in order to improve professionalism and supply of services.
In a continuing effort to contribute to the development of a sustainable infrastructure of local business advisory services in the EBRD countries of operation, SBS Armenia team in collaboration with the Head of the Yerevan Resident Office seeks to improve company performance through a tailor-made course on Management Presentation/ Investor Factsheet Preparation Course delivered by international experts to local consultants.
This initiative is inspired by EBRD‘s experience in pre- and post-investment developments at local enterprises, whereby the role of management presentations became imminent in acquiring foreign direct investment. EBRD experience with local clients has shown that they are often insufficiently prepared to present themselves to potential investors. One of the ways to better present themselves and engage with investors is the preparation of management presentation/investor factsheets. They tell a company's story, providing an up-to-date "snapshot" of where a company is and where it's going.
