Contract description
The purpose of the contract is to increase Kosovo Food and Veterinary Services capacities in developing and implementing sound and financially viable animal health programmes and, therefore, to reduce the incidence and prevalence of targeted diseases in human and animal populations. The services to be provided under this contract include but are not limited to: Development plan for the Animal Health Unit, including annual and multiannual work plans; Design and implementation of the surveillance programmes for diseases identified by the Kosovo Food and Veterinary Services ; Review of contingency plans for selected animal diseases; Development of Animal Health Laboratory.
Budget
Maximum budget: 1.500.000 EUR
Eligibility
Participation is open to all legal persons participating either individually or in a grouping (consortium) of candidates which are established in a Member State of the European Union or in a country or territory of the regions covered and/or authorised by the specific instruments applicable to the programme under which the contract is financed (see also item 29 below). Participation is also open to international organisations. The participation of natural persons is governed by the specific instruments applicable to the programme under which the contract is financed.
