Background
The consultancy is planned within the 2nd phase of the Integrated Local Development Project (ILDP II), which aims to support the further consolidation of the local strategic planning system in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) by enhancing its vertical integration within the higher government strategic and financial planning frameworks and supporting a critical mass of local governments to apply a harmonized approach to strategic planning and effectively manage local development processes in partnership with their communities.
Responsibilities
- Design a tailored training program, with supporting material
- Deliver the training to representatives of the FBiH DPI
Requirements
- University degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related technical field
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in the field of econometrics and statistics
- Sound expertise and proven practical experience in econometric, statistical and forecasting software, in particular STATA
- Proven skills and experience in technical support to technical and operational staff from various governmental institutions or business
sector in the area of econometrics and statistics and deployment of relevant software solutions
- Good knowledge of English and fluency in the official languages in BiH.
