The global objective of this Call for Proposals is to support the sustainability of the civil society.
The specific objective (s) of this Call for Proposals is to strengthen administrative capacity for cooperation with CSOs on local level, as well as to strengthen civil society sector through built capacity for self sustainability and enhanced role of CSO in decision making process at local level.
The specific objectives of this Call for Proposals will be achieved by providing grants to CSOs in the following priority areas:
Priority area 1. Strengthening the CSO participation in decision making process at local level and in the implementation of national policy for regional and rural development.
Priority area 2. Strengthening civil society through initiatives for creating favourable legal and financial environment including initiatives for cooperation with business sector and individuals for mobilisation of local resources (including but not limiting to initiatives for cooperation on developing philanthropic activities).
Priority area 3. Protection of the human rights (including but not limiting to initiatives in anti – discrimination, youth rights for mobility and intercultural cooperation).
Size of grants
Any grant requested under this Call for Proposals must fall between the following minimum and maximum amounts:
- Minimum amount: EUR 30.000
- Maximum amount: EUR 150.000
Eligibility
In order to be eligible for a grant, the applicant must:
- be legal persons (individuals are not eligible, nor are informal alliances or initiatives without legal status) registered and operational at
least two years before the call is launched
- be non-profit-making
- be specific types of organisations such as non-governmental organisations
- the applicant must act with at least one (1) co-applicant as specified hereafter
- be established in a Member State of the European Union or countries that are beneficiaries of the IPA instrument or the European
Neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument or countries of the Economic Area. This obligation does not apply to the international
organisations
