Background

Building upon the achieved results of the previous interventions, in June 2012 UNDP launched a new project financed by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), aimed at introducing a set of comprehensive measures to significantly improve the Lake’s overall health, strengthen its resilience, and ensure, in the long-run, control of the eutrophication processes.
