Background
UNDP is launching a Call for proposals to all local Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) from Municipalities of Fushë Kosova/Kosovo Polje and Obiliq/Obilić to submit project proposals for “the implementation of activities listed in the Municipal Safer Community Plans as identified by Municipal Community Safety Councils in Municipality of Fushë Kosova/Kosovo Polje and Municipality of Obiliq/Obilić.
Priorities will be given to applications from: non-governmental organizations; local associations; and other civil society institutions carrying out activities that promote volunteerism and safer community activities in close cooperation with community based groups such as: Local Public Safety Councils ( LPSC) and Community Safety Actions Teams ( CSATs). Proposals must be developed in line with the activities described in the Call for Proposal Background Analysis of the guideline for application –sections 3, 4 and 5.
Organizations will have to provide strong evidence such as relevant and professional experience in community safety related projects in order to become eligible to compete for the grant.
