Background

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Kosovo is implementing a project entitled “Building a better future for citizens of Fushë Kosovë/ Kosovo Polje and Obiliq/c/Obilić’(HSTF)”.
This grant focuses on establishing enterprise for producing/maturing urban decorative tree seedlings in Obiliq/c municipality.
The selected beneficiaries will receive:
  - UNDP, on behalf of Obiliq/Obilić Municipality, identifies, through a competition, a specialized individual or a group of individuals, to|
    co-fund the establishment of a company to establish and run a nursery for urban decorative tree seedlings;
  - The UNDP in Kosovo provides funding to support the newly established enterprise, given that the beneficiary/ies invest/s for the
    construction of a 1,500 m2 greenhouse in a piece of land s/he/they own/s or rented for a 10 years period.
  - UNDP provides the grant in means of goods and/or services.
  - UNDP in cooperation with Kosovo Forestry Institute donates 20,000 seedlings, , to the newly established company under the condition that
    the company donates to Obiliq/Obilić Municipality 5,000 of these seedlings as per following arrangements.

Eligibility

Applications will be accepted from:
  - Individuals;
  - Group of Individuals; and
  - Current Nursery Businesses

All applicants should be from Obliq/c municipality. The nursery should be located in Obiliq municipality.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate to have operational capacity to reach the proposed production or service and has attended trainings on entrepreneurship skills.
The applicant will have to provide strong evidence that they are in position of the in kind contribution (minimum 1500 m2 greenhouse) in order to become eligible to compete for the grant. The
