Description
The objectives of the Consultant's services are to provide complete, comprehensive and professional consulting services for the preparation of a feasibility study, geology exploratory investigation, and full ESIA, for the construction of HPP Babino Selo, which will allow EPBIH and EBRD to adequately assess the Project. The Feasibility Study will consist of: i) a multi-criteria analysis (MCA), which will assess different technical solutions for HPP Babino Selo; ii) analysis of the optimal solution, which will include geology exploratory investigation, detailed technical, financial, environmental and socio-economic analysis, annual electricity production figures, organisation of construction, detailed breakdown of costs and assessment of impact on downstream HPPs; iii) Full ESIA study, non-technical summary and stakeholder engagement plan.
The Feasibility Study will provide a basis for the preparation of the preliminary design and tender documents in case the assessment arrives at positive results.
Eligibility
Corporate services are required. Consultant must be a specialised consulting firm or consortium of firms demonstrating substantial experience in design of hydro power plants, the financial and technical issues of the power sector, investment and operating costs and practice, and the relevant BiH and European Union environmental laws and standards as well as have relevant regional experience.
Budget
Cost Estimate for the Assignment: EUR 750,000.00; Exclusive of VAT.
