UNDP KOSOVO/ LOCAL IT CONSULTANT (CONTENT MANAGEMENT SOLUTION DEVELOPER)

Background

The Aid for Trade project aims to support Kosovo’s public institutions, private enterprises and other relevant stakeholders as they strive to develop a vibrant and export-oriented private sector. The project attempts to achieve these objectives by strengthening the technical capacities of partner beneficiaries and facilitating their access to relevant support services. The overall development goal of the project is to foster inclusive economic growth through the promotion of export and the enhancement of the country’s competiveness.


Responsibilities

   - Thoroughly analyze and evaluate the existing content of the website. To implement this task, DTED needs to support the consultant with
     all necessary information needed to administrate with the web site;
   - Organize meetings to assess the existing level of cooperation between relevant touristic actors and their readiness to provide future data
     to DTED;
   - Identify the needs to enhance the content of the website and propose appropriate and efficient methods for efficient and regular collection
     of data in the future;
   - Propose best practices applied in other countries that can be adapted to the particular requirements and circumstances;
   - Present the work plan for validation to other relevant stakeholders (i.e data providing institutions, organizations, agencies and local
     businesses, etc.);
   - Collect agreed information and upload them in the website;


Requirements

   - Bachelor degree in computer sciences or other relevant field;
   - Specialization/certifications in Information Technology will be considered an asset.
   - Minimum five years of practical professional work experience in:
   - Electronic Publishing and Content Management in development and design of CM work-flow, document relation structures, systems of
     content collection, management and delivery;
   - Information Architecture in including metadata standards, classification schemes, knowledge of representation.
   - Fluency in the English language.
