Background
UNDP within the project “Strengthening of DOTS Strategy and Improving National Tuberculosis Programme, including Multi-drug Resistance and Infection Control, in Bosnia and Herzegovina” is seeking to recruit a consultant to define Electronic Recording and Reporting Systems for data on Tuberculosis, as well as to prepare detail specification and requirements of R&R system. The R&R system for tuberculoses has been recognized as an important component of the above mentioned project, as well as activity which will contribute to improvement in data management.
Developed Electronic Recording and Reporting Systems for Tuberculosis Data will be incorporated into National Tuberculoses Plans (NTPs) of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Republika Srpska.
During preparation, consultant should consult in preparation representatives of ministry of Civil Affairs, Federal Ministry of Health, Ministry of Health and Social Welfare of RS, Department for Health and other Services of Brcko District and relevant representatives of NTPs. It is expected close coordination and communication with TB project team.
UNDP continues to provide support to the health system in Bosnia and Herzegovina in strengthening DOTS strategy and improving NTPs and including multi-drug resistance and infection control.
Requirements
- Advanced university degree in Information Systems (or comparable study) or University degree in Information Systems (or comparable
study)
- 5 years in the field of systems analysis/ information systems with University degree
- 3 years in the field of system analysis/ information systems with advanced university degree
- Previous experience working in BiH health sector and knowledge of national health system structure would be considered advantage
- Good knowledge of English and excellent knowledge of Bosnian/ Serbian/ Croatian languages
