EUROPEAID/135852/DH/SER/GE: SUPPORT IN FURTHER DEVELOPMENT OF STANDARDIZATION AND METROLOGY INFRASTRUCTURE OF GEORGIA TO MEET EU BEST PRACTICES ENI-GEORGIA

Description

The overall objective of the project is to strengthen Georgia's metrology and standardization fields in order to facilitate trade and free movement of goods between Georgia and its trade partners, in compliance with EU and WTO norms and requirements. The purpose of this contract is to enhance the capacities of the Georgian National Agency for Standards and Metrology (GEOSTM) under the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, to meet the Association Agreement/DCFTA provisions in the fields of metrology and standardization.


Eligibility

Participation is open to all natural persons who are nationals of and legal persons [participating either individually or in a grouping (consortium) of tenderers] which are effectively established in a Member State of the European Union or in a eligible country or territory as defined under the Regulation (EU) N°236/2014 establishing common rules and procedures for the implementation of the Union's instruments for external action (CIR) for the applicable Instrument under which the contract is financed. Participation is also open to international organisations.
