Requirements
- University degree in economics, financial management, accounting or other fields related to this assignment.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in the area of PFM.
- A recognized Master Degree or recognized equivalent level in the fields of PFM, fiscal policy, accounting, economics and/ or public
sector auditing or other fields related to this assignment.
- Understanding and/ or experience in working with the PEFA methodology and assessment of PEFA indicators and reporting will be
advantageous.
- Demonstrate complementary skills to cover the full breath of the analysis of the different areas of the PEFA performance report.
- Skills and knowledge in all of the areas assessed in a PEFA performance report, i.e. budget transparency and allocation (including
budget formulation, preparation and oversight), budget management, budget classification multi-year fiscal planning, taxation
systems and policies, internal controls and auditing, external auditing and performance auditing, accounting, recording and financial
reporting, public procurement, treasury functions, intergovernmental relations, PFM and expenditure policy and legislation.
- Good communication, organizational and relational skills.
- Excellent skills in English are essential
