EUROPEAID/135998/IH/ACT/MK: IPA - STRENGTHENING OF THE ORGANISATIONAL AND INSTITUTIONAL CAPACITIES FOR THE ACCESSION NEGOTIATION PROCESS (MK 10 IB OT 02)

Description                                                          Max. Grant amount: EUR 1.615.000       

The overall objective of the project is to further support the EU integration process through capacity building of the Secretariat for European affairs (SEA) in ensuring inter-ministerial coordination and prioritisation and in better assuming the aid coordination role and management of IPA. The expertise of economic, social, legal and/or institutional nature to be provided as regards the shortcomings identified in the Progress Reports will indirectly support the European affairs structures at national level.
The purpose of the project is to enable the exchange of experience with EU Member State(s) as regards the process of EU integration, notably to ensure alignment with the acquis on sector basis, subject to the real needs, in a transparent manner, as well as to better manage the translation process. The skills for implementation of policies and the overall quality of the legislation will therefore be enhanced.


Budget
  
    - Maximum amount contributed through IPA: EUR 1.615.000.
The project will be implemented through a Twinning Contract estimated at a maximum of EUR 1.700.000 (out of which 95% or 1.615.000 EUR IPA funds and 5% or 85.000 EUR National co-financing).

Eligibility

Only Public Administrations and Mandated bodies as per Twinning Manual of European Union MS may apply through European Union MSs’ National Contact Points.
