Description                                                Max. Grant amount: EUR 900.000        

The project aims at strengthening of administrative capacity at national level and including local level for transposition and implementation of the Industrial Emissions Directive (IED). The project foresees the preparation for development of primary and secondary legislation in accordance with IED and assessment of the economic impact of implementation of 2010/75/EU (IED).
Furthermore, this project will pursue development of plans and procedures for implementing the IED, to comprehend economic aspects of implementation of this directive and the impact for industrial sector and to develop pilot projects (drafting permits in accordance with EID) for promoting active participation of the central institutions, municipalities, civil society organizations, industry representatives and other concerned stakeholders.

Eligibility

Only Public Administrations and Mandated bodies as per Twinning Manual of European Union MS may apply through European Union MSs’ National Contact Points.

Budget

The project will be implemented through a Twinning Contract estimated at a maximum of EUR 900.000 out of which IPA contribution will amount to EUR 855.000 while national contribution will amount to EUR 45.000.
